What would you say to a co-worker who is on the same level

as you tells you in a jokingly manner that you have a personality of a card board box today? Although he was joking I felt like reaching through the phone and slapping him.. yea mind you he's the type that does not do his work and jokes around ALL day long. There is a time to be social and joke around and there is a time to know when you need to get work DONE. WHat is his freaKKKIN dysfunction?? He said that to me b/c I wanted to ask him questions on the status of an assignment we are both working on..

He probably felt like an azz when he cracked a joke or tried to be funny and you didn't respond the way he would have liked.

I would keep it business and just carry on with life. No need to give him any more of your energy.
