What would you wear to a.....
back yard wedding reception- that the invitation said dress comfortable?
regardless of what I wear I am sure I will feel over dressed
but I was thinking a cotton dress?
thoughts?

Cotton dress sounds perfect. I'm sure people will be dressed down too it sounds like from the 'comfortable' attire!

A Cotton dress and cute flip flops or flats would be great or you could do some linen pants and a cute tank or short sleeve shirt with some flats. The way I read this is that they are looking for something more then jean shorts and wife beaters, but nothing as "fancy" as casual......Wear what you would wear to a girls lunch and shopping

I'm weird
I would most likely be more dressed up then the bride in something like that- they already got married 2 weeks ago- so this just a party to celebrate
she is a not a girly girl- and I don't want to stand out
these are Jake's friends- and I am ALWAYS over dressed no matter where we go
I am sticking to my cotton dress- I am wearing a dress like that for my sisters shower next weekend- which is also outside- but more formal then this by a lot

no, your not weird- some of Jake's friends are
so I just know I am already going to feel out of place there
I would normally wear a dress like you posted!
the shower is done- except for the bingo game- 50 people I have to make cards for- me and my big ideas
