I would wear what you're most comfy in. if it were me I would wear capris
eta: I changed my mind... since this a BBQ with a theme, I think it would be more than just an ordinary BBQ. wear the dress

It is actually in celebration of a graduation. So I guess a dress is good. Now to find one! Any ideas? Feel free to post!
