What's allowed?

How do I check what is allowed/not allowed (on your property) in a town in Nassau? TIA

There really isn't any list that I know of.

So go ahead and spill the beans. What is sitting on your neighbor's property that you want to report? Chat Icon

our town has a list available at the town hall office - it's also listed on the town's website

Thanks! Actually we are considering making an offer on a house and we want to know if pools are allowed, fencing around the property, etc.

I know the Town Of Hempstead has all the pool regulations, including appropriate setbacks from propery lines, as well as fence regulations for pools on their website.

Or the village if it's an incorporated village! Sometimes their rules are stricte than the town's!
