Whats for dinner...on Christmas!
What's everyone cooking for Christmas dinner? I am having six adults and was thinking of doing something more exciting than a turkey breast and ham. Any suggestions???

Re: Whats for dinner...on Christmas!
We do Christmas Breakfast at my house. It's always a traditional Irish fry (my mouth is watering just thinking about when my Poppop used to do it) - I have to order the stuff from Galtee. We usually get the family breakfast hamper. I black puddin's, but I won't be able to have any this year.
Then I'm going over to my wonderful SIL's for dinner. She's still figuring out a menu.

Re: Whats for dinner...on Christmas!
DH invited his parents over for Christmas dinner and I was thinking of ordering a honey baked ham also.
Honestly, I'd have hoped to invite them next year, since we only moved into our house 2 weeks ago.
Hope they don't mind eating off of Christmas paper plates and using plastic utensils.
Oh Man.....I need appies too??@?@!@?

Re: Whats for dinner...on Christmas!
Lasagna and rib roast. For sides we'll probably do mashed potatoes, peas, string bean casserole and a salad. We're just having my parents and maybe my aunt.

Re: Whats for dinner...on Christmas!
All this food sounds amazing. I wish DH or myself were Italian. We do go to DH's cousins house on Christmas Eve and she's married to an Italian chef. It's heaven
My sister is hosting Christmas this year and she's doing a spiral ham with potatoes au gratin and various veggies.
Because we're going to her early in the morning she's also doing a brunch.
