What's going on with me?? UPDATE at bottom =(
So AF is late. She was due today and so far nothing which has never happened to me until now. I tested last night..at first nothing ..then the FAINTEST line showed up. Even DH saw it so I know I'm wasn't hallucinating!
Today I had an appointment with the gyno. Did a test there...BFN. What gives?? She said it is still early and to wait and see

the test at your doc may not have been as sensitive. Test again in the AM and see what happens. Did your doc take blood too?

Nope no blood test, she said that would be more sensitive but that usually their POAS are good enough. My head hurts from thinking so much

Well if it wasnt a blood test that she did then there is def. a chance you are preggo. I dont understand, why did she decide not to do a blood test?

that would be my guess, that she thought it was early bc af is still due today. a line is a line though - if you saw a line, i think things are looking good and test again with FMU (and of course let us know!)

Thank you lol I was trying to explain to DH that a line is a line but I think he just needs something more "in your face"

i agree with the ladies...the doctor's test probably wasnt that sensitive...they should have done the blood test! but a line is a line!
let us know what happens with FMU!!

ITA. You can also go to your PCP and ask for a blood test if you gyn refuses to do it.

Why no Blood Test? I would go back to your regualr doctor and explain to them what happened. They'll probably do another Pregnancy test on you and tell them you would like blood runned.
How early is it?

That sounds like my dr, they did a urine test (of course I had already gone to the bathroom 3 times by then the last one being about an hour before the test) but then told me I wasn't.
It seems like it's early so I would ask for a blood test.

She showed today.  I can't believe it!!! AF has NEVER been late since I'm 12 years old! I'm heartbroken. I just spent the last 2 days thinking that I'm pregnant. I mean, what was with that line??? I know it was there. I'm just so sad right now. I really thought this was it.
TBAF showed when I was I work. I don't know how I got through the rest of the day. Thank you all for the good wishes. I guess it's on to month 7.

I am so sorry. That is so strange though. Is your flow heavy? Ive heard that some women do bleed a bit while pregnant. You said DH saw a line too right? maybe it was a chemical? Either way, I am really sorry

if u r pretty sure u saw a line i would go to the doc and get a blood test..they can see if u have a ny high levels of hcg in ur system

it sounds like if you got a + on a reliable test that maybe you had a chemical pregnancy. it really is ridiculous that your doctor didnt do bloodwork two days ago. not that it matters, but if it was + and is now -, at lest you would know for sure. if you already got AF its prob too late to know what really happened.
