Whats the average cost to have a puppy spayed?
We need to do this asap as our puppy just turned 6 months and already tried to hump my daughter yesterday.

Around $250...but if you go to the website friendsofanimals.org you can pay them $75 and use a participating vet to do the spay. The money goes as a donation and the vet will only charge you additional for meds/shots.

We did it about 2 years ago. We have 2 dogs so we got a discount also.
It was $200 each. The vet charges vary by weight. I have 2 small dogs.

I too used friends of animals and went to Wantagh Vet since my vet didn't participate
My DH makes fun of me that i shopped around but he's care was perfect

The total with blood work and pain medication was around $300. I got it done at my vets office. They also kept her over night, and the vet checked her in the morning before I picked her up.

My vet charges $350 and that includes pain meds and whatever else she needs. Can you girls who used the voucher recommend your vets? I thought $350 sounded high but I never had a pet before so I wasn't sure but reading this thread it sounds like I was right.
