What's the best place - area rugs
What's the best place to get area rugs that are not going to break the bank? We have a little one on the way so I know the carpet will eventually get destroyed so don't want to pay a bundle. Online or store suggestions are welcome please!!
Thanks!

I was able to get a nice West Elm one at the Pottery Barn outlet in Riverhead. I don't remember the exact price, but I think there was an additional discount and it came to around $50 or so.

Checkout Homegoods and National Wholesale Liquidators ....they often have a decent selection at good prices.

i got a really nice one at Fortunoff a few weeks ago (it was 50% off and ax the tax week!).
it was a 7x10 originally $700 so we paid $350 after the no tax.
I have also gotten ones for the LR from target very reasonable!

Re: What's the best place - area rugs
You can get cheapo rugs in so many places - the ones listed by PP are great. HD & Lowes has so many ie, 9x12 for under $300 or even $250. They are not plush or super sweet under your feet but they have some really nice looking ones. I bought one from JC Penney (search online for codes, they always have tons of them for free shipping) it's Olefin material and it's fine if you don't want luxury underfoot. I really want a nice plush one but I might be a glutton for punishment with 3 small kids.

Re: What's the best place - area rugs
Thanks for this thread!@ We were just looking this weekend. Rugs are SO PRICEY! i don't know why. HD does have some mega cheap ones that felt so rough. $250 just seems insane to me. I don't want to pay more than$200 and tha'ts pushing it for a big one. Knowing the cats will just tear it up makes it a million times worse but I want it to feelt at least a little sift. Stupid money.
