whats the best scar cream you have used
I've been using Mederma on a bad scar for quite a while (probably about 1 yr). The scar is definitely lighter and less noticeable than it was, but I'm not sure how much of that is due to the Merdema and how much of it just would have happened by itself anyway.

This. One scar I can't even find anymore & its been a year. the other (more significant) has gotten much lighter & its been about 9 months.

My doc recommended it after surgery.
It is amazing - not cheap - but amazing.

A friend of DH's is a PA for a plastic surgeon and I was just talking to him and he said to use Bio-Oil

Scarguard. Or any other product that contains silicone work best. Also do not let the scar get tan.
