what's the deal with blue cheese salad dressing?
is it really bad?
I didn't eat it at all with #1, but this time it's all I want lately

It's fine if it's pasteurized, same with any of the soft cheeses.

Salad dressing is typically pasteurized, so it is fine.

Whwnever we go out I ask if it is pasteurized and it mostly is so I eat it. It's perfect for the hot wings that I love to eat!!!!

Considering my hot wing obsession, I can tell you I eat it at least once a week-it is very rare to find unpasteurized blue cheese dressing in the US.

Its not that the cheese isn't pasturised, it has nothing to do with pasturisation, because in the US it is very very rare to get cheese that isn't heat pasturised. Its the veins that contains the mold in Bleu cheese that can be dangerous for pregnant women, the mold can cause Listeria which is very dangerous. I am super easygoing when it comes to eating stuff while pregnant, but veiny cheeses are the one thing I keep away from.
