whats the deal with the crib knee kicks?
my friend insists i have to get one with a knee push - i went to BBB last night to look at some and the one i liked didn't have one?? it seems weird to me that you can't raise or lower the front of the crib? was it just the selection in here? i want a convertible crib

It's a matter of preference, but I have been told it's easier to have a crib with the drop down side. Otherwise, when the baby is bigger and the mattress is lower, you have to literally drop the baby into the crib. If you are short this makes it even harder.

Most of the convertible cribs I've seen do not have a drop down side. From what I've read it is better for the conversion later for all parts to be stationary.
ETA: The only convertible cribs w/ drop down side I've seen are from Bellini.
