What's the difference between a size 4T and a 4?
Thomas wears a 3T. I have a bunch of birthday gifts to buy for 4 and 5 year olds. If I'm shopping at GAP for instance, who has both size 4T (toddler section) and 4 (kid section), what do I buy?
Thanks!

I would buy a 4 for that age group....size 4 is usually "skinier" than 4t as the 4t usually leaves room for a diaper
miki is 3.3 and she wears a size 4 in pants and 5 in tops - we no longer shop in the toddler sizes

A saleswoman told DH that the T size is made to accomodate diapers/pull ups.

Wow - I had no idea! LOL Then I should check out the size 4 for Thomas. He's very skinny and out of diapers!

We don't shop there either- it actually makes me a little sad.
