What's the most you made or paid on ebay?
I made $3500 on Beanie Babies back when they were very popular.
I paid $2800 for DH's B-day gift.

I made $400 on a Old Rheingold Can of Beer
I made almost $400 on Plastic Car Models that i was going to throw out
We sold Danielles Uncles 1977 Chevy Nova on there that had 28k original miles - Sold for $3100
I have sold so much over the yearss.....
I made a lot on the Friends Board Game when it was first released. It was sold out in every store...and I found a store that kept getting it in weekly, so each week I would buy out there stock at $9.00 a game and sell it on ebay for $22 plus shipping

before we bought or house I sold pure crap I had in my attic. It took a couple of months but I made almost $2000.
couple of years ago I sold a bunch of surplus supplies DH had that were brand new & made about $1500.
My son sold his old paintball gun for $700.
I don't think I ever spent more than a couple of hundred on one item.

to date, I have made almost $800 net, but I wouldn't call it "profit", since I actually lost money. these were all items that I bought throughout the years and either got some use out of or never used them at all. I have sold a lot of clothes new with tags.
oh well... I guess it's better than getting nothing for them.

I made over $5K selling them- it paid for our new apartment (real estate fee and first months rent)
I wish I had a running total of what I have made in the last year since I started

I don't sell real big items. Most I made was proably close to $100. Most I spent was probably in the same range. I'm not on it for a business, but DH does cars and parts on there and does well.

I have some parts that came off our mustang- I should put them on ebay
does he sell heavy stuff? I have a H Pipe and cats- but they weight at least 50 lbs
I put it on craigs list- but nothing
I just want them out of my truck

Oh, I also sold an alto flute that I found in a closet at my old school for 1700 bucks. I forgot about that! I literally found it and made 1700 bucks off it.

I bought a car on Ebay for 18k. That is the most I have ever spent on Ebay.
so did we- I forgot about that- we drove to Michagan to get it

I dont sell too many expensive things. Most made on one items was $280 on a old set of silverware
I'm a big quantity seller but I average around $200-$500 per month in ebay sales. It pays off so much.
I actually went to a factory outlet and purchased a batch of cosmetics (which I'm selling now). So far I've made $300 minus the $260 I paid, so when all auctions end I'll probably walk away with a $100 pure profit for 1.5 weeks.
This saturday I'll be listings loads of used bags. Probably start the bids at .99 cents. Most of my .99 listings end up sellling for around $2-$7.

He made a lot of money on some stupid game too...little data cards. Paid for a lot of the wedding.

My DH probably could have made a fortune selling some of his game characters. Unfortunately, Ebay doesn't allow it any more. In fact, I tried to sell a board game that was related to an online game and I had to edit the description several times, because the terms I was using was related to "selling online game characters." I personally think it's a silly thing to ban.
In response to the question, I only sell little things here and there. The most I've sold something for was only about $200 and the most I've bought something for was about $500.

WOWZERS!! I try and sell everything I can get my hands on. The best profit I made on an item was about $75. I sold my BM dress from my sis's wedding that I didn't even pay for - my Mom bought it for me!
I can never seem to find a good break. I wind up spending more $ on baby things than what I sell. Good overall I guess....

I have a boat load of Barbies in boxes that I would love to unload. Even if I got what I paid for them i would be just fine. Then again, if I made enough for the 50inch Panasonic flat screen, Id be ok with that too.

paid $300 for an autgraphed jersey of DH fave retired baseball player (authentic).
I think we sold one of his guitars for over $300.
