Most of my bags are $50 max. I am the cheap bag girl of the board

Although I did once buy my Mom a Gucci bag for around $400.

Not alone! The most expensive bag I have is about $150 & DH bought it for me. Otherwise I usually buy something no more then $45

I have a $300 coach bag and it was a gift from my parents. At this stage in my life with my son, I can't justify spending that kind of money on a bag.

My most expensive bag was $400, but I would definitely go to $1000 for a bag that I loved, that was well made and I know I would get a lot of use out of.

Julz, I'm with you! I have one coach bag that cost me about $130. I love coach bags, but I can't spend the money for them regularly.

I think it was a little over $500 but that was a long time ago. I'm due for a bag splurge, and with inflation, I should spend $1,000 this time!! My last bag was $99 and now I am not sure if I like it.

Yeah! DH was going to surprise me with it, but when I saw that the Ebay auction ended with a "Buy It Now", I got so upset! I "knew" it wasn't him b/c the transaction didn't take place in our Ebay account. I was so upset over the bag that he eventually gave in and told me he bought the bag, that he set up a new Ebay & PayPal account so I wouldn't know.  He decided to tell me because he didn't want me to be a mental patient for the next 3 days while he was away on business. (He was probably afraid I would go on the hunt for another bag! )

My husband doesn't understand the obsessions with bags. He sees it as a waste - see, I try to tell him that I'm rough on my shoes so I keep it to a min but bags are FOREVER and you'll never grow out of them.
