What's the normal price for dance classes?

I'm want to get my B/G twins into dance. I'm not looking for a serious dance school. I'm looking for something fun for them. I'm just trying to get a feel for prices before I start calling places. What's the normal price for dance lessons? And if someone can recommend a place around the lindenhurst area, that'd be great! TIA!!

For one hour once a week it's usually between $40 and $50 per month. Make sure to ask if they offer a sibling discount. At some studios boys dance free, but it isn't common.

I pay $52 a class for a 1 hour class...I get a discount of 2 dollars per month for the second class and 4 dollars per month for the third class...There is also a registration fee of $20 a year. As an FYI, the recital costs me between $77-95 per costume and $25 a ticket...the shoes are also not cheap (ballet is about $25, tap and jazz are about $35 (we can't buy those at Payless because we need tan).

This year we paid $35 a month for a 2/3yr old combo class (no recital). I think it goes up to either $40 or $45 next year.

Some schools to look into:

-LA Dance (in Amityville- this is where I went growing up and have friends that send their DC there)
-Diane's Dance Center
-Babe Landers (it's run out of a house- but I know a few people whose DDs go there)


ETA: My DD goes to David Sanders. They have locations in North Babylon, East Islip & Ronkonkoma
