What's with Old Navy anymore?

I feel like good 'ol Old Navy has turned into an Abercrombie store!

They used to have easy going, comfy everyday clothing and now everything seems so "trendy" and geared toward the size 0 gal.

Sorry, I don't fit any of the above. Maybe I am getting old.....

I can never buy anything in there but sweetshirts. There jeans and shirts are all cut small I feel.

I LOVE Old Navy jeans! The shirts are weird Sometimes you need a lrg sometimes you need an x-lrg, and sometimes you need a med???? All in all I think it's decent clothes for decent money and I really like the styles

i used to loveeeee old navy my whole wardorb came from there but for the past year i havent liked anything i really only buy the baby clothes from there now

heh, I thought that about old navy for at least 5 years now.... pants cut for pre-pubescent girls (no hips, no @ss), shorts that are WAY too short, tiny bathingsuits for teenagers only.... I could go on and on.

I don't think I ever bought any clothes for myself in that store

I think Old Navy is really hit and miss these days, I am a big fan of ON but I am finding that Target has better clothes these days....

Their clothes also are not consistant sizes.

I only have Old Navy jeans bc they fit the best. The shirts just don't fit right anymore...

yea I've kinda noticed that too..I used to not be able to walk in that store with out buying a ton of stuff (even if I didn't need it ) lately not that case at all ..I was in there the other day to look for sweats for the gym and all I walked out with 2 lousy t shirts ..even there sweats were eh I didn't even see their Logo sweatshirts they usually carry this time of year

i thought it was just me, too!!! i used to buy EVERYTHING there.. it was so great for basic tee shirts and sweaters and work clothes. and now its just gotten so trendy and the cuts of the stuff are changes so they don't fit as nice as they used to! i miss my old old navy

I bought a corduroy skirt there recently and had to go down 2 sizes b/c it ran really big. but I agree with some of you who said that is seems to be geared towards younger people now. kinda like a cheaper alternative to Abercrombie or Hollister.

I find that their quality has gone way down hill anyway. I used to love shopping there years ago, but now I only go there once in a blue moon.

I bought DH some t-shirts there a few years ago and I think he wore them 2x. they completely fell apart

I will only buy sweats etc there....and the occasional tshirt or jacket. Never the jeans. Seems like every pair is made different.

I used to love their jeans..but now..not so much anymore. I've also found they either discontinued or just don't carry a pair of jeans that I loved!!! From time to time I still find stuff there, but not like before. It's getting harder to shop!!

I only buy shirts, sweaters, and t-shirts there..OOoh and all kids clothes.
I cannot buy pants. They just don't feel right.

I find sooo much more stuff at Old Navy in the summertime (maybe I am trendier with my summer clothes???)?

i feel the same - their shirts are either too boring or too trendy and none of them are cut right! i am not a big girl by any means but i don't feel the need to have every shirt clingint to my tummy fat, TYVM.

on the other hand, i love their pants, they always fit perfectly, which is hard for me b/c i have kind of a flat butt, thicker thighs, but no hips i am an anomaly!

Honestly I was never crazy about Old Navy. I only bought my gym clothes, PJ's and tanks there. I find the quality not to be so great. They tend to fall apart after a few washes.

I hope I don't get flamed for this but as a really small person, I appreciate that they offer small sizes. It's really hard for me to find clothes that fit.
