What's with the 1/2 hour naps lately?
DD used to nap anywhere from an hour to 3 hours at a pop, now after 30 minutes her eyes pop open. So weird.
Is it a phase?

My DD is the same
doesn't nap anymore except cat naps
it's so annoying.
i hope it's a phase.

We're the opposite. I can bank on 3 half hour naps, but he's been taking longer ones lately. I hope it stays this way, but I've learned not to count on anything when it comes to babies.

I know - it makes keeping her "not cranky & overtired" very difficult. I spend most of my day trying to get her to nap because she's rubbing her eyes, whining and yawning constantly!
All she wants to do is play with her toes and roll over

Welcome to my world up until about 3 weeks ago! 
Nikolas never napped more than 45 minutes, 2x a day.. he was cranky all day long as a result.
Just recently he's become a great napper. Sleeps 1 1/2 - 2 hours in the AM and about 1 hour in the afternoon. But I don't even like to say this (or type this) because I probably will jinx it 
I truly think babies need to keep us on our toes so they keep changing things around every few months

DD used to nap for EXACTLY 30 minutes at a time, occassionally more, occassionally less until a few months ago where it got a lot better.
There was NOTHING I could do! Even driving in the car she would wake up after 30, so annoying!
