I'm cheap too. My favorite places to shop for DD are: Childrens Place, Target, Carters and some stuff from walmart. I also never buy anything retail. I always wait for sales or have coupons....

I just got DD some Tea stuff at the shop in Lindenhurst for a great price- I'm sure I'm going to LOVE them.
I am a total baby gap junkie- think their stuff washes really well- and I love how all the colors coordinate from season to season.

We have fancier clothes in slightly larger sizes that DS has yet to wear.
Most of the time, DS is wearing a snap shirt with mitten cuffs from Gerber and a Halo sleepsack. I started off with just 2 sleepsacks and then I bought another 5.
I haven't really bought much for DS yet myself. I am taking notes from this thread!

When he was an infant I absolutely loved everything from Coccoli baby, which they sell at Dennys and Lesters. Now I lean toward Gap and Carters. I love all the cottony stuff and these are the brands that seem to have soft cotton, nice colors and they wash well. I guess it's good that there is not much toddler stuff from Coccoli because now I can get my favorite stuff for less money.
Ooops, I forgot about Osh Kosh----Carters bottoms are a bit long for my DS but Osh Kosh has the perfect lengths! I guess I can't settle for one favorite brand!!!

I like H&M.... mainly becuase DH's and my style are sort of banana republic-ish and modern, and H&M is the only brand that makes baby clothes that are similar in style....
Also, since DS grows so quickly, I don't want to spend a ton of $ on clothing... he outgrows a size every month or 2....

i've never heard of tea, so i just cheched it out... $19 for a onesie? wow...
i'll stick with kohl's when carter's is on sale  (carters is much cuter than the boy's stuff on the tea website IMO).
