I'm iin bayside so I like gyro corner. It's more of a take out place, although they do have a hand full of tables. If you're more accessible to astoria I'm sure the greek food is better there

Astoria
Mezzo Mezzo- love the cold pikilia and shrimp santorini..and this bread they have! yum
Zenon (cypriate greek)- all the grilled fish and the grilled cheeses!
Kyclades- fish and lemon potatoes
Elias Corner for Fish- again the fish!!!
Cavo-the desserts and the outdoor bar
I also like Athens strictly for dessert and frappes.
 I love greek food.

We love Avli on Bell Blvd or KATI Allo in Auburndale. Mythos on Northern Blvd & 196th St is good as well.
Gyro Corner is more fast food as pp said

We loved Kati Allo, but we were so disappointed when we got their food last month. It was soo greasy, definitly not what it use to be 3 or 4 years ago.
My BIL loves gyro corner.

We usually get from Kati Alo but I've heard great things about this other place on Utopia Parkway...I think it's Nikitas place

We love Avli on Bell Blvd. and Mythos on Northern Blvd. the best but Kati Allo and Nikita's Place are also good too.

LOOOOVE Elias Corner for Fish- sooo amazing. Was just talking about that restuarant last week.

Totally old thread, but I stumbled upon it and I have to say, Avli has become our favorite spot, period!
I highly recommend it! It's delicious!
