When my husband first came to visit me in the states lo those 10 years ago, we took him to the Majestic Diner in Carle Place and his eyes almost fell out of his head when my mother demanded that he ordered the prime rib.
He was so thin before he met big portion racheeeee

The Majestic Diner...those were the days
I like the grilled cheese but often don't get it because I think it is highway robbery to charge almost $5 for bread and cheese

Depends on the diner.
But at Sunrise Diner (aka to the family as "the little Diner"), I order the chicken gyro with Greek Salad!

Healthy Breakfast: egg white omelet with spinach & feta & whole wheat toast
BAD Breakfast: chocolate chip pancakes & bacon & chocolate milk
NEVER go healthy for diner dinners so I REALLY like to have:
A chocolate shake w/ a gyro or a turkey burger with bacon, cheese & BBQ sauce & crispy fries!!
