i just did a HARP refinance to 4.875% last month

ETA...30 year fixed

We just did a 20 yr at 4.6. I think we could have done better looking at the current rates.

We closed last month and got 3.875 on a 15 yr. refi through Wells Fargo.

My parents refi'ed 2 weeks ago their 30 year fixed mortgage at 4.75%

DH refi'ed the house last week, 4.875% also a 30 year fixed.

I'm getting info that says the best rates are for credit scores at 740 and above.

Goes down about 1/8 for good scores around 700.

Is that about right?

We have our mortgage through the Credit Union and are looking at doing a 20-year refi at 3.875%. A 30-year is currently 4.185%.

After much back and forth, we decided to refinance.
Our credit scores are both over 760.
We did a 20 year at 4.75. We closed in June.

. This is with a n excellent credit rating.
