What's your perfect, simple 4th of July menu?
Looking for a simple 4th of July menu that screams ALL-AMERICAN!

For me
burgers (turkey and beef) & hot dogs, both on potato rolls
ribs
corn
potato salad
green salad
some other veggie salad or grilled zucchini
dessert
peach pie
ice cream (sundaes!)

Savory and Sweet Southern style barbecue ribs.. loaded with sticky sauce and smokey flavor
Red White and Blue potato salad - zippy and just a little tangy for a twist on an old favorite
OR
Creamy mac & cheese with flecks of crisp bacon and a buttery golden bread topping
Thick slices of juicy, red farm stand tomatoes sprinkled lightly with sea salt
Garden salad with lots of crisp romaine, buttery Boston and some peppery rocket greens. Add in some shaved carrots, chopped red onion, sliced cucumber and some sharp young radishes with a few grape tomatoes. A nice lemony citrus vinaigrette gives a great summer feel.
End the day with a refreshing watermelon granita garnished with small watermelon wedges and some grilled peaches topped with a fresh bourbon whipped cream.

DH is going to grill! It's just the 4 of us so we'll have hamburgers, hot dogs, and corn on the cob, and maybe one more side. Oh and beer of course
