I never asked but started giving them to DD at 7 months. Not whole cherries, of course, but they come in a stage 2 baby food mixed with apples. I figure if they are in a stage 2 baby food then they must be safe for around 6-7 months.

If they were stoned and cut into pieces I would say the same time you gave them other hand held fruit! You know what I mean, bananas, pieces of orange etc...
