When DC got their first tooth...
...how much ear pulling/rubbing did you see with it? DS has his first tooth ready to come through anytime now. He also just got over a double ear infection and checked out all clear on Monday. Yesterday and today he's cranky and rubbing his ears and I'm trying to figure out if I need to make an appointment to go back to the doctor, or if there's a really good chance it's the tooth. Thanks!

My kids never pulled their ears from getting a tooth. I would take him to the ped.

DD didn't pull her ear because she was teething. She chewed on everything, including her fingers, though.
I am not sure if the ear pulling is teething related. Is it your DC's coping mechanism when things are not well? My DD pulls her hair when she is frustrated.

I asked the same question two weeks ago and it turned out to be an ear infection.
Go get it checked.

No ear pulling..ever.
The only thing that can be in relation to teething is that teething causes a runny nose and he may be trying to suck them in therefore, possibily resulting in an ear infection.
