When DH drives where do you sit?

I find myself always sitting in the back seat now with the baby. This is because she is usually crying because she hates the car seat. I am not fond of the back seat but I think I would be very frustrated sitting in the front with her crying in the back. It's bad enough when I'm driving and I can't calm her.

I sit in the front. The only time I'm in the back is if it's raining and I jump right in with the baby.

I usually sit in the front. The only time I sit in the back is if Nate is fussy or it's time for him to eat.

I always sit in the front. The only time I ever sat in the back was on the car ride home from the hospital.

I always sit in the front. Alex is great in the car, he is usually asleep in 5 minutes.

In the front unless we are traveling.

I'm ususally driving. Dh is never around but if he was around I would be upfront unless it was one of Jack's scheduled feeding times.

I have only rode in the back once and that was coming home from the hospital.

I sit in the back if we are going for a while --- Dh isnt around very often so when we do go out as a family he gets flustered if the baby is hysterical when driving so to prevent that I sit in back.

I guess I'm weird -- I always sit in the back with Andrew. I don't want him to get lonely back there! LOL

And not only that, but when I'm driving and someone is coming with me, they have to sit in the back and keep him company!

When Emma was little I sat in the back with her until she was 1. On long trips I sat in back with her incase she needed to eat... breastfeeding in a moving vehicle is a trick in itself Now since Jeremy has Emma in the back with him I sit up front with DH, although I tend to drive a lot since its my only time I am sure I don't have to tend to anyone!!!

I always sit in the front but when marissa was an infant I would only sit in the back if we were going on a long drive to inlaws which is a 3 1/2 hour drive or if we were goingto my parents which is a 3 hour drive.

I always sit in the front. I rode in the back on the way home from the hospital and then when we drove from ILs house in Florida to my dad's in Georgia. That was just to keep her amused while DH was driving so that it wouldn't become a distraction.

I always sit in the back with Claire, I dont want her to get lonely back there. Maybe once she is 1 year and faces forward I will sit in the front so she can see us.

My DH doesn't drive so it's usually me driving and him sitting in the back. It hasn't even come up that he might sit in the front -- he's just always hopped back there with her. I think he likes it because he gets to see her -- he misses her all day when he's at work.

A friend of mine has this mirror that I think attachs to the the back windshield and it plays music and has a remote control. So when she turns around the baby can see her and the music is very soothing I sat in the back with him once and he got fussy so she put it one and he was out. That might be something you would want to try.

My DH is now a cab driver - because I always am sitting in the back.

I sit in the front. Hayley is usually sleeping, she likes car rides....besides, I get nauseous sitting in the back seat.
