When did it REALLY hit you?
I'm not just talking about the positive line on the stick, or the endless puking in the toilet -
When did you say to yourself - holy sh*t - I am really pregnant?
when did you actually FEEL pregnant?

It really took me until I started feeling him move around in my belly that I had that moment where it all became "REAL" ..

I definitely felt PG when I felt the baby, but I still don't think that it's REALLY hit me or my DH yet and we have 3.5 weeks left! We haven't even started the baby's room so maybe that's why?

I still can't believe I am pregnant. I think once we have our 1st sonogram and see the baby it will really sink in.

I had mine today, saw the tiny baby and the heartbeat, and it still doesnt feel real yet!

With #1, my 18 weeks sonogram when I found out she was a girl and I could give her a name. With #2, telling everyone.

But in all seriousness for me it wasn't a physical change that made it really hit me.. It was when all of a sudden DH and I would talk about or make plans for our future and it was all of a sudden the " three of us" or well we will do this when the baby is here , When our baby is X age we can do that, etc.
That's really when it hit me that we were making future plans and it included this person who was not even here yet but would impact all of our decisions from that point on.

The 1st sonogram and the others that followed. Last Sunday "browsing" for baby furniture and yesterday when a coworker gave me a swing. I now have a swing and a bassinet in the house.
I haven't really felt movement yet, but, the pants are getting tight.

It started to feel real when I felt her for the first time. When we found out what we were having, I started to become excited. Before that I was scared to death, now I can't wait to meet my baby girl!

It definitely wasn't until she started moving around. With Christopher, it hit me right away, but this pregnancy was so easy for me in the beginning that I didn't even feel pregnant at all. In fact, I had to remind myself quite a bit.
