When did/will you start buying things for your baby?
I have not bought anything yet, not even a onesie, but I was thinking about it today. I felt uneasy buying anything up to this point for some reason. I get I am more supersticious than I thought.

As soon as I know if it is a boy or a girl (a couple months).
If it is a girl, there is not much I need since we have a DD (maybe need some seasonal clothes).
If it is a boy, we need some boy stuff and I have to think about room ideas.

i'm supersticious about a LOT of things - but for some reason - not this stuff. I always felt if i bought something and GOD FORBID we couldn't use it - i know MANY, MANY women i could share with.
Our first 'official' baby purchase was made about 4 years ago. I just washed that 'first thing' the other day and kept the box - because it felt so surreal to finally OPEN it!

The only thing I bought... the night I found out I was prego, I got my mom and DH Bibs...
My moms said- What happens at grandmas stays at grandmas
and for DH it said- My dad Rocks...
Thats how I told them with their lil bibs...

After my shower.
Everytime I see something on my registry go on sale somewhere, I'm so tempted to buy it.
I'm constantly getting emails for $50 off my convertible carseat, or 15% off which I can use on my stroller.
I just cant bring myself to buy anything right now. I dont even look at baby clothes in the store.

i started buying clothes after 18weeks, furniture around 20weeks, and now i am full blown buying things from clothes, to toys, to essentials that i need and im 26w.
i want everything done so once august rolls around i can sit back and do nothing.

I am going to buy things as soon as I hit 13 weeks. I am not superstitious per se, but I feel that if something did go wrong it would be that much more difficult for me seeing baby stuff around my apartment.

Right after the 20 week sono I went and bought a huge bag of baby clothes. Since then I have been buying everything the baby needs. We are not having a shower so I decided to buy something each week.

we just bought two outfits, a pair of booties and a few nicknacks while on vacation.
that will probably be in until after the shower.
i am 18 weeks.

I haven't bought any clothes yet, after the shower I will..but we did get the furniture and we are buying the glider, light fixture and rug this weekend.

I am going for level 2 today so after that i will order this outfit that i have been keeping my eye on, other than that i will wait for until after my shower to see what else i need.

I am going to wait until after my shower to buy anything, I don't want to buy a bunch of stuff, and then get the same things at my shower, or wind up with a lot of things I don't need. The only thing we will buy before the shower is the crib.

I bought my first item when I was away last weekend. I bought a sign for the babies room that said "all because two people fell in love" I loved it, it was green (the color we are doing for nursery) & I couldn't put it down, so I caved.

I'm 26.5 weeks and haven't bought a thing. We have received so much already from friends/family! We're going to wait until after the showers to buy anything ourselves.

we didnt buy anything until the Level II. I was 19 weeks and we went straight to BBB to register and buy a cute outfit!
