when did you do the "big reveal" at work?

My closest friend at work knew from day one, and I told my boss last week.... I kind of not wanting to tell everyone till 14 weeks. BUT I am beginning to show already

I told 2 people right away. They were there for me when we had the m/c and I wanted to share the news with them.

I told my manager and immediate supervisors at 8 weeks because my m/s was really bad and I wanted them to know because I work in a call center and in the event I needed to do a mad dash at least they knew what was going on.

I told the rest of my department when I was around 12 weeks or so. They all had their suspicions (some of the signs were obvious, like puking in the parking lot, the smell of coffee making me run to the bathroom, the constant crackers and ginger ale, etc...) and didnt want to say anything. When I finally told them I got "well it's about time you said something "

As time went on, news traveled quite fast and it wasnt long before majority of the company knew.

People at my job found out in dribs and drabs, My principal knew I was going through IVF I had to take off a lot of half days and such so I was honest with her from the beginning. The people I am closest to at work also knew I was going through IVF so they knew right away. The "others" all knew by the end of June before school let out, I was about 8/9 weeks. I told "everyone" at 10 weeks. I'll be 12 weeks on Monday.

I plan on not telling until 12 weeks. One women at work knows already. I couldn't keep it a secret from her.

I told one friend at work early b/c we're so close and I had really bad m/s so it was too hard to hide from her.
My boss found out at 8 weeks (again...the m/s)
And I told everyone else at 13 weeks. Most people that they had already guessed it in their heads, but I wasn't giving up the secret until I was ready!

People at work knew before my family did!! B/c of the nature of my job, I had to advise them so I was assured to stay on desk duty and not go out in the field. This was at 7 weeks.

i told people around 11 weeks. Some co workers I was closer with I told right away

Im a teacher. My team knew right away because they knew I was doing IVF. I told a few other close work friends right away too... even before my family. Surprisingly, the news did not get out to the rest of my school!!!

I told my principal and chairperson at about 10 weeks cause I didnt want them to hear it through the grapevine.

My principal made an annoucement at the faculty meeting on the last day of school (he asked if he could first). It was really nice!

Around 8 weeks, I was pretty sick and felt that I should explain.

I told my co-teacher right away b/c she told me first.
I told my principal prob a week later b/c I had some pretty horrible m/s and didn't want him to think i was late just because.

I told the rest of the staff at the end of my third month.

I told work after my first trimester testing, which was about 13 weeks.

Im a teacher and I was going through tenure this year. I told my dept chair right away for her opinion. I told the principal after my tenure observation around 15 weeks! I wanted to wait until I got the letter that said I was being offered tenure but there was a MRSA outbreak in my school. I figured it was better that she knew right away!

Everyone knew pretty much right away since I went through IVF and had to take some time off for it.
