I think it was a week or so. Nobody said I couldn't but I told DH I couldn't so he'd run all the errands

2 weeks...I was antsy also...really bad. It was the first question I asked the doctor at my checkup for my incision.

i had a csection, i drove myself after 5 days to the doctors to get my staples out.

I waited at least a couple of weeks.
I had a c-section and my doctor told me not to drive - cause if I had to slam on the brakes or any sudden movement, I could re-open my incision.
Also she said god-forbid I got into an accident - the bottom of the steering wheel would hit the incision.
So I listened

A few days after I delivered. My midwife said not to drive for 2 weeks, but I felt fine.

I drove myself to my 1 week pp checkup (I had a c-section). My Dr never mentioned to me that I shouldn't drive. I was fine.

Had a c-section and drove home from the doctor after my 2 week visit. Still couldn't climb the stairs more than once a day though..go figure

Thanks! Noone actually said I couldnt drive, I just figured being so sleep deprived and weak, it probably wasnt the smartest thing... but I'm feeling pretty good, so I know that any day I'll be wanting to get out a bit, even if its just to CVS and home...
