When did you lower your crib?
DD is 6 months...she doesn't roll over in her crib yet, no standing, just a little head lifting. She is definitely not climbing out.

When he started being able to push himself into a sitting position and crawl, because then he could make his way over to the bars and try and pull up. Thanks goodness we did, because 2 days after we did it I came in that morning to find him standing there waiting for me. If we hadn't done it preemptively, he would have been over the side!

ds is 6 months tomorrow and is rolling all over the place in his crib. he is also starting to crawl a little bit but doesn't really sit up by himself yet. the other day he managed to turn on his aquarium toy, which is kind of high for him to reach. so now i'm nervous and we'll be lowering the crib this weekend.

We lowered DD's at 8 months when she was sitting up and starting to pull up & all over the crib.

We lowered it all the way when she was 6 months because she was pulling up and cruising around the crib. If I were you, I'd lower it anyway. Better safe than sorry.

Thats when we did it. Kaitee was 6 months old. Brooke is now 6 months old (but I think she still has a few more weeks before she crawls) and we will lower it in a few weeks.

I lowered it at 6mos only b/c I had a dream he jumped out! But even if I left it, there is no way he could have gotten out at that point. Also, my baby week by week book suggested it be lowered at 6mos....and I was in there changing the sheet anyway so I figured I might as well do it.

Once she started sitting up and we could see her head above the top of the crib.
Soon after that, she started standing up, so it was perfect timing!
