When did you start buying stuff for the baby?
Did you wait for your shower or did you start buying things here & there each month?

For a while now, I have been stocking up on wipes, some diapers, lotions, baby washes, etc. I only buy stuff that is on sale with coupons now. Haven't bought many clothes.

Everytime I see something cute, I pick it up. My first official baby purchase was in December (around 22 weeks), but I've only bought a couple of things here and there.
I figured I would wait until after my shower and then see what I need.

I bought a few things after my Level II and then waited until after my shower because I wanted to wait until I knew what I needed.

I wont be buying a thing. If others do for us, then great. It will be kept elsewhere and not brought into my home. Im too superstitous.
I will be doing my layette at Denny's. It will be held and when I deliver, I call with weight sizes are exchanged if need be, my sister will pick it up and have it washed by the time I come home. Ill be good for a number of weeks.
To me, everything else is nice but not necessary right away and ceratinly doesnt have to be purchased all at once. JMO.

When we found out the baby is a boy (~18 weeks), we bought a few NY Jets outfits.
The only other things we've bought are the furniture and a few wall decorations for the room. That was about 23 weeks.

Around 35 weeks... my mom kept telling me not to until after my shower which I just had this past weekend at 37 weeks. At 35 weeks though I bought a take home outfit and diapers just in case I went early.

I've just started to pick things up and look at them, but have yet to buy anything.
I think I'll feel better after the Level II and go back to buy some of that stuff I was looking at.

At 18 weeks after the amnio. I only bought a few things like clothes. I bought a little bit at at time when I saw sales.

I bought a couple of onesies as a joke for DH for Vday, I was 20 weeks then.
Since then I've looked, but haven't bought anything. I really want to wait until after my shower so I have an idea of what we need versus what I want.
