I have been buying and saving baby items since I was literally about 24 years old in anticipation of having a baby one day. I just had Emerson at 33 years old. I know, I was nuts!!

we bought our very first item for the baby like a week ago and i am currently 36 wks. we wanted to wait till after the shower to buy anything for the baby. turns out we pretty much got everything we needed off the registry!! glad we did not go crazy buying stuff prior.
the only thing we need is gender specific clothing . we got a lot of yellow stuff ( ) so, rather then add to the yellow pile  ( i hate yellow) we will buy clothes once the baby is born.
