When did you start getting growth sonos?

I just went for my 30 week appointment on Friday and there was no sono... again. I was pretty bummed. They said I won't get a growth sono until 35-36 weeks, but I see so many of you getting growth sonos around 30-32 weeks.

What was your experience??? I'm desperate for another sono, I haven't had a good one since my Level II at 20 weeks, 5 days!

I'm 29 weeks today and I'm having a growth sono on Thursday. I'm also having twins so I might be going more often.

I wish I had written this down. I'm almost positive I went for a sonogram at around 32 weeks (which was the first since the 20 week scan), but it wasn't a growth scan, but a 3d scan in my dr's office. I went for my first growth scan at 36 weeks. I have had one every appointment since then, but I've been having issues feeling the baby and then my fluid was sort of on the low side.

with my son i never had one - last sono was at 20 weeks

it can matter on your insurance and your doctor- each does it differently

i just had one at almost 30 weeks. Didn't have one that early with DD #1. dont' know why they did it so early, but he said i will have another one in a few weeks. the baby is already 3 lbs!

I had one at 31w3d. I've had one every week since because of some complications.

My OB doesn't do any more sonos after 20 weeks unless there are complications or medical needs. I had one at 28 weeks to follow-up on a spot on DD's heart but that was the last one. Didn't get to see her again until she was born.

With DS, I had sonos at 9 weeks, 21 weeks and then at 36 weeks. Because DS was measuring big I wound up having 2 more at the hospital at 38 and 39 weeks as well.
DS was a c/s at 9lbs 14oz.

Because this child is a scheduled c/s I wasnt supposed to have any sonos after my 20 week. But we did one at 38 weeks just to have an idea at baby's size.

Only 1 at 36 weeks.

with #1 I had a growth sono at 30 weeks, but I was switching practices. Then I had them after 40 weeks - NST

#2 I started sonos t every appointment from 30 weeks on, since #1 was 10+ pounds, they didn't want #2 to get too big


#3 I have a placenta abnormality so they want to start growth sonos at 26-28 weeks.

my doctor told me last week that i will start getting growth sonos regularly at my next appt which is may 5th, ill be just shy of 31w. he said specifically its because im on lovenox so at this point they like to monitor the growth closely.

i think 28 weeks and then i had to have a few more because of the gestational diabetes... but many of my friends had one at 28 weeks and then the last in the very end if at all

my next sono will be at 32 weeks.

i had a sono at 19w and my next one is today for 36w. I think frequent sonos is not the norm.

My doctors office doesn't have a sono machine in every room.

I was told the sono schedule (12w, 19w, 36w) at my first appointment so i knew what to expect and haven't been disappointed at appointments hoping for one.

my next sono is next week and i'll be 28.5 weeks. im not sure if i get another one after that (im going to ask) but my dr said i'll start going every 2 weeks after my next appt.

growth sonos at 31w, 34w, 37w 40w

had sonos at 8,9,12,20w

im getting one thursday, i'll be 30 weeks. i have GD though so i need sonos more often, not sure if thats why

With my first pg I had growth sonos at 29, 32, 34, 36 and 38 weeks. Doc wanted to make sure DS wasn't too big.

I get mine at 32 weeks!
