When did you start giving your DC stage 1 baby food??
I know they say start with vegetables first.
Also, did you try every kind of cereal first??

we did veggies first, but not til after all cereals were tried first.

Not all peds want to start babies with veggies first. Some start with fruits as far as baby food is concerned. My ped follows this schedule:
Rice Cereal [1 week, 2x day]
Oatmeal Cereal [1 week, 2x day]
Barley [1 week, 3x day]
Green veggies [with cereal, 3x day]
Yellow veggies [SAA]
Orange Veggies [SAA]
Less sweet Fruits >>>>>>>> More sweet Fruits [SAA]
He follows the school of thought to start babies on less sweet veggies first then move to less sweet fruits.

At 4 months we started the cereals first Rice, then Oatmeal then Barley. Then we moved on to fruits and veggies , I mixed them up. After the 3 days of trying a new food, I would switch to a veggie, then next a fruit.
