When did you start putting DC's in restaurant high chairs and store shopping carts?
Chels has been sitting up for a while now, but I'm still scared she's going to fall over for some strange reason....soooo when did you start putting them in high chairs at restaurants and putting them into store shopping carts???

Started just shy of her 6 month birthday....
We use one of thos floppy seats in the shopping cart and have been lucky enough to go to restaurants with the plastic hi-chairs instead of the wooden ( I feel they have more support)...But I'll use the floppy seat for them also

do you mean the shopping cart and abd high chair covers, I have that...guess another thing to put in the car..we also have a travel high chair that we can fold up and bring with us..so maybe i'll try that

Around 6 months but i had a shopping cart seat that was really thick and it helped prop her up.

Yep, those fluffy blankets looking things with the leg holes  ...it gives some cushion around her...I keep mine in the back of the truck..
I also have a vinyl type one, but I'll maybe use that when she's older
( more so for sanitary reasons, not for cushiony effect)
We have the clip on seat also ( with the hippo clips for the table) , she'd probably be fine in that also, you can always tuck a blanket around her for added support

Today! lol. DD is just about 9 months and we just got her 'big girl' carseat today. We took a trip to Target and she went from the carseat to the shopping cart, with her little padded seat cover, and LOVED it.
It was so easy to keep her in the infant carrier in restaurants. It either sat on a chair next to me, or slid into the booth sideways. No more, I foresee her stealing things off the table from now on

Around 6 or 7 months.
ditto but closer to seven months when he could sit for longer periods of time.

I started using the cart when MJ was 6 months old..and he'll stay in it for awhile but if I take too long I'll end up carrying him around the store lol...
I use the Infantino cover with all the toys and it keeps him busy for awhile....
I tried the restaurant highchair and he does much better in the stroller for now.....we'll try again soon....

I just started bring the booster seats to restaurants.
I'll never be able to put them in a shopping cart, except at Costco. Thats the only place I have seen that has carts for two kids to sit in.

5.5-6 months. At first bc I was afraid of the same thing, I used to prop blankets up around him.

8 months-she was firmly sitting up and we were at a hotel restaurant with no other option.

6-7 months. This is when she was stitting up well. I still had to put a little blanket for extra support just in case.

we just started about 2 weeks ago.
DS is almost 6 mos, but he's fully sitting up and is a bigger baby. He loves it. He laughs, he plays, he so happy!!

DS has been sitting up well since about 5 months. I started putting him in a restaurant high chair at 5.5 months, which he loved. I just started putting him in a shopping car at 6.5 months. I would've put him in it earlier, but I don't go food shopping with him very often. My mom bought me a shopping car cover and DS loved palying with the toys on it.
