When did you start to show?

Hi ladies--

I am about 11 weeks and starting to show. Granted my starting weight was about a good 15-20 lbs overweight, but I already went an bought two pairs of maternity pants for work because most of my old pants are too tight. I do not feel like I am over eating but I figured I would put it out there--Btw this is my 1st, so, is not like I'm on 3 and tummy is elastic already.

I think I started to show about week 14 but was still able to wear my regular clothes. I was about 15-20 pounds overweight as well, so I never had tight clothes, so I was getting away with my clothes up to week 18. But when we told people at week 12-13, a few people were saying that they already knew because my body was changing, so I guess I was maybe showing earlier then I thought.

I started to show at about 17-18w, but barely. I am 20w now and it is still not obvious.

Probably around 16 or 17 wks. is when I felt like I was showing a little bit. But I really popped just before 20 wks.

I started to show a little around 22w and popped out around 24 weeks.

I started showing around 15-16 weeks, even despite being more overweight than you are. I think everybody's body is different! There is no "norm."

I'm only 12 weeks - but with the bloating - I think I'm "showing". This is my 2nd pg, so that may have something to do with showing earlier too.

i had to buy maternity clothes at 10 weeks!

I'm just starting to show now and I'm almost 16 weeks. I can still fit into my regular clothes though.

I think it really depends on the person. I am 23 weeks and starting to show now, but felt more comfortable in maternity pants/belly bands since about week 17 or so because I always felt bloated by the end of the day. A friend of mine with a similar body type and similar eating habits is due a week before and she started to show much earlier.

I'd say around 16 weeks. But only I noticed it. Around 20 weeks is when I popped and others were able to tell.

I was in maternity pants at 9 weeks :)

I am an IVFer though, and the progesterone injections really blew me up - I was larger at 9-12 weeks than I am now at almost 19.

Like the PPs said, everyone is different, make yourself comfortable!!!

I'm 14.5 weeks now and just a little belly. I can fit in my low rise pants with a hair rubber band pulling them together and I have some maternity shirts b/c they just make me look a little neater.

However, my in-laws continue to rub my belly, which isn't even the baby!

Thanks ladies..I will say my jeans are fine but they are strechy..most my work pants were alittle snug to begin with. Like someone said it is about being comfortable. I guess I am just conscious about weight gain during pregnancy.

i started showing around 16.5-17 weeks

I showed very early with DS (by 12 weeks) and even earlier with this pregnancy!

definitely showing now @ 13.5 wks with DC2

1st pregnancy around 20 weeks
this pregnancy I'm getting bigger faster. I already have a little belly at 16 weeks and hips are getting bigger

at 13 weeks i had a little pooch and bought maternity clothes bc they were SO COMFY. now at 16 weeks i am showing.

I started to show very early on but I think it was a lot of bloat. I was able to hide it until about 13 or 14 weeks (even though I noticed a belly). I had a little belly that just grew from then on but I didn't switch over to maternity pants until about 17 weeks.

DC#1 .. I was in maternity at 11 weeks for comfort but didn't 'pop' until about 22 weeks. I was definitely noticable around 16 weeks.

DC#2 ... Maternity at 13 weeks and showing 100% by 14-1/2 weeks.

I'm 14 weeks today and am just starting to get a tiny bump...but it's barely noticeable. This is my second one though and I'm definitely showing earlier this time...first one I didn't show until 18 weeks or so.
