When did you stop bottles?
We are still working in this at 16mo. DD is still in the infant room at daycare and all of the other kids are still on bottles so we knew we had to wait to transition. Now that she will be moving up within the next two months, they have started to transition her to drinking milk from a cup and it is not going well. She still gets a bottle in the morning and sometimes before bed (if she doesn't refuse) but she flat out say, "no," if we put it in a cup and won't even try to drink it. I'm thinking we just have to take all bottles away, but I'm not sure I'm comfortable with that idea yet.

When did you stop bottles?
With DD1 we switched to straw cups at 1. Plan to do the same with DD2 - we are starting to mix milk in on Monday, so will likely start with the bottle and when we got to 50/50 milk/bm will switch to a straw cup. DD2 has been drinking out of a straw cup for a while since she picks up DD1's cups all the time, so I am hopeful we will have a smooth transition. My issue will be getting rid of the pacifier!

DD is 18 months and still gets a morning and bedtime bottle. I had asked the ped about it, and he told me not to stress over getting rid of them till 2.

Both boys were done with bottles by 12-13 months.

We've decided am and pm bottle will stay. She loves those. Milk/Formula during the day will be in straw cup.

We switched from bottles to the Nuk training cups with the silicone spouts at 15 months. I would have rather switched right to straws, but my DD was a terrible drinker, and really needed the milk. She used these only for milk until 20 months, at which point she was biting through the spouts and I switched her cold turkey to straws. She is doing okay with it, but doesn't drink as much. She's a skinny kid, so I try to get fat into her in other ways. I would have switched sooner if her percentile hadn't kept dropping for weight.
