When did you stop putting DC into the car seat into stroller/snap and go and straight into stroller?

DS will be 5 months on the 29th and he is pretty big but more LONG then anything else. all his chub is in his cheeks.

he is still ok in his infant seat but was wondering when you put him directly in the stroller?

I have a Graco travel system and my DH wants to put to put him in the stroller but worries it isnt secure enough yet?

I did around 6 months. I thought they would enjoy being able to sit up and look around in the stroller.

I was thinking 6 months also just didnt want to do it to early.

Plus i will miss looking at him while we walk...

John is going to be 4 months next week. When my sister sits for him she takes him outside in a small umbrella stroller and he does great in that. I haven't tried the graco stroller yet though. May wait a while for that, Just seems so big right now.

At 5 months I started using my lightweight stroller. I still used the snap n go though until recently (7 months) if he fell asleep in the car. But we just switched to a convertible carseat so we retired the snap n go

DD is 5 months and the other day I went for a walk in the neighborhood with the snugride in the snugride frame...not being able to go over cracks in the sidewalk made me think about doing it now...I think this weekend I will put together her other stroller and see if that is any better. I will miss looking at her though

About five and a half months. She loves looking out!

We started last week DD is 7 months old.

DD#1 a week old, DD#2 1 month old. My strollers have full recline and can be used from birth up. As far as how long I used the infant seat- I used it (and still do) w/ my snap n go as long as they fit into the infant seat. I only use it for quick errands or if they are sleeping- for longer trips or walk I just use the stroller.

8 months. We still use snap and go for some thngs tho, but mostly the regular stroller. but I make it face me still

One year. It was so convenient keeping him in the carrier with the snap and go and he didn't reach the max requirements (32lb and 29") until he was 1.

I used the car seat in the car until 12 and 11 months for my DD and DS...but used the reg stroller A LOT earlier on...bec my DS was the 2nd I got a double stroller and was putting him in the reg part as early as 3 months!
