When did you stop putting your DC in onesies?
I like that everything stays neat and tucked in, but it seems as though they're not as available in 12month size and I guess they do look a little baby-ish.
What about feety pjs?

Re: When did you stop putting your DC in onesies?
DD has onesies that are 24 mos that she still fits in...she's 19 mos..she'll sleep in them sometimes..but I'm thinking this/fall winter she won't be wearing a onesie under her clothing anymore

Re: When did you stop putting your DC in onesies?
I stopped around 11 months. Easier to change him without it and I like the way he looks in regular shirts and bottoms. Like a big boy.
I think the last onsie he wore was one of his outfits for his 1 year photo shoot when he was 11 months
ETA - hasn't worn feety PJ's this summer, but I'd get them for winter when it's cold.

Re: When did you stop putting your DC in onesies?
once he outgrew the biggest size. Then in the winter we just put regular white tees under his clothes.

Re: When did you stop putting your DC in onesies?
Onsies come in sizes up to 24 months or at least carters ones do. I had DS in them up until summer its to hot to use them now but I probably will use them occasionally in the winter. As for the PJs we stop feety jammies at 6 months I personally just don't like them so DS who is 17 months has been in top and pants Pj since then.

Re: When did you stop putting your DC in onesies?
Ann has more outfits now that aren't sets of onesie tops with bottoms but I still put her in the ones she has that are 12 month size.
I also bought some fall ones in 18 months so she will continue to wear them.

Re: When did you stop putting your DC in onesies?
probably around 3-4 months old... she is a PITA to change and it was nearly impossible to get her to lay still so it has been 2 pieces since then

Re: When did you stop putting your DC in onesies?
When he hit the 12 month size (around 4 months). I have them that go up to 24 months, but now he just wears shorts or pants and a regular shirt, since it is so hot here. Plus now that he's a toddler I feel like he should look more big boy.
ETA: DS still wears feety PJs (in 3T size; cotton in summer and fleece in winter). I've found those in 4T sizes, so he'll be wearing them for a while. I hate wearing socks at night, so I feel bad putting socks on him to sleep, and his feet seem so cold otherwise. We have central air so year round it's about 68 in our house at night.

Re: When did you stop putting your DC in onesies?
I stopped after the winter--DD was about 15 months old. I do still use them as pajamas every now and then when it's really hot and I am out of her shorts and tshirt pajamas, but not very often.

Re: When did you stop putting your DC in onesies?
in the winter my 2.5 yr old was still wearing them (Carters 24 months) under outfits and so was my 1.5 yr old. I hate the diaper hanging out the back look..i stopped in the summer but plan on continuing in the fall - maybe not on my then 3 yr old bec she is now potty trained but def on my 1.5 yr old...I think it is also great to avoid back draft esp when picking them up and i LOVE the long sleeve white onesie under short sleeve polo shirt look!

Re: When did you stop putting your DC in onesies?
omg this post made me so sad... DD hasn't been wearing onesies all summer really (unless its a decorative one that she wears tucked into her shorts). I just bought her one from the outlets the other day (size 18-24 months) and it felt weird buying it because shes so big... Now I'm thinking in my head "omg is that the last onesie I'm ever going to be buying her" and I'm getting all teary... I think its just her first birthday thats fast approaching thats getting me this way, so sad though!!!

Re: When did you stop putting your DC in onesies?
I still used them on DS over the winter and he was over 2 years old. I love them, and love how I don't have to worry about his shirt riding up in the cold weather. If they still fit, I will probably use them again this year

Re: When did you stop putting your DC in onesies?
I like the onesies for DS if I could find them at 12 months. He stopped using them completely at 18 months when he started to potty train

Re: When did you stop putting your DC in onesies?
I stopped this summer at 14 months....only because I felt like it was too hot to have them under his clothes. I have size 18 months and 24 months and come the Fall I will most likely be using them again.

Re: When did you stop putting your DC in onesies?
She wears them still, not always though...
I have some babyGAP onesies that are still pretty big on her, or fit her really well, so she'll wear them with shorts or capris...
but sometimes its tanks or tee shirts
Depends on the outfit...I probably will keep putting them on her until 2yrs old

Re: When did you stop putting your DC in onesies?
DS is 19 months and still wears them under his pajamas. As soon as it started to get hot out I no longer put them on him during the day. He is still wearing 18 months in the carters and I believe they go up to 24 months. I will continue to put them on him during the day when it is cold out. I like that his belly doesn't get exposed. He still wears pjs with feet. His room is freezing and socks never stay on him.

Re: When did you stop putting your DC in onesies?
I never treated onesies as "undershirts". I've always used them as regular shirts. In the winter I'd layer with a long sleeved onesie underneath, but in spring/summer, the onesie IS the shirt. DS has 1/2 onesies, 1/2 tshirts for his 12m summer wardrobe. I did get 18m long sleeved white onesies to layer under short sleeved tees/onesies for this upcoming winter. That'll be it for him.

When DS started potty training ... do you know how hard it is for a 2 year old to open those snaps?

Re: When did you stop putting your DC in onesies?
DS is 10.5 months old & I still put him in them & will for the fall. For me, I feel that he is more "put together" when his diaper is not hanging out of his pants/shorts.
In the winter, he will remain in feety PJ's bc his room is extra chilly

Re: When did you stop putting your DC in onesies?
Between 18 and 24 months, he started outgrowing the 24 month sized onesies. He has a long torso. We switched to regular shirts then. I love them so much more!

As soon as possible. I hate onesies. Such a PITA. I would say probably somewhere between 6-9 months I stopped using them.

Re: When did you stop putting your DC in onesies?
Charlie stopped wearing onesies at 2 months because there were just so many cute outfits that werent a onesie on top, and it was too hot to put underneath.

This is probably when Ill stop, ds is very active, the onsie helps keep diaper in place.
When its hot, he just wears onesies, or I plan to put him in rompers next summer when he's 1year.
