When did you stop sleeping on your stomach?
Is it unsafe to sleep on your stomach or just not physically possible after a while. That's mainly how I sleep and I was curious if I should be trying to stop.

i havent been told to stop  my mom said she slept on her stomach her whole pregnancy with me. so i plan to do it for as long as i can comfortably

Thanks for the responses. I guess I will continue to do it for as long as I can. I have a dr appt next week so I will double check with her then.
I was just concerned with crushing the baby or something, but that doesn't seem to be an issue based on what I've been reading.

Both my sisters' and two of my friends said to stop and I believe one of the baby books says it also. My doctor told me also. HTH

I'm still sleeping on my stomach, although I'm not really showing yet at 14 weeks. I guess I will stop when I become uncomfortable. I'm going to hate it, because thats really the only way I sleep.

It became impossible for me. I believe around 14 or 15 weeks.

Your body will let you know when you should stop. It will become uncomfortable.

I stopped as soon as I found out I was pregnant, but that's mostly cause I'm crazy and irrational and couldn't fall asleep cause I thought I was crushing the baby. lol

I have not been able to since I would say 3 weeks- that is when my boobs started to become so sore that it hurt to sleep on my stomach

I kind of stopped (I'm 25 weeks) I sleep on my side/stomach ........I used to sleep flat on my stomach but now it's not comfortable anymore .......
MANY of my friends who have had babies recently slept on their stomachs as long as they were comfortable

do it for as long as you can!...I am 28 wks and started getting uncomfortable on my belly at about wk 26ish.....it slowly got worse...you jsut can't get comfy..you will know..enjoy it while you can!

Do it until your comfortable, it wont hurt the baby at all. The baby is very well protected in there.

ITA!!! I'm 34 weeks and can still kind of do a half side, half stomach thing.
