When did you stop using the changing table...
and where do you change DC after? I am kind of grossed out by changing poop diapers on my bed and couch even with a pad...

when we moved.
DD was about 20 months..
I just wanted to do a big girl room- so we got all new furniture and got rid of the changing table (although we never officially had a proper changing table- just a regular low dresser w/ a changing mat attached- it worked out really well)- now i'm using her dresser (w/o the mat) husband is using my dresser and DD has a new dresser...

the changing table is the only place she'll stay still for a diaper change...so i think I'll be using it forever!!

Troy has been pretty good on the changing table (as far as not getting up/rolling) but I am concerned he's getting too long for it. He was 33" at his 15 mo appt this week!

We using the changing table. It is right in front of a window, so DD looks out the window and stays distracted for a while.

This is a great question!!! I have been having the worst time with my ds on his changing table!! He flips over so quick that I am afraid he is either going to jump down or fall off!! I give him anything I can to distract him and keep a tight grip on him with the other hand! But he is getting stronger by the day! I think I might start using the floor with a towel- just to be safe!

When we moved out of my mother's house in June. She never tried to get off of it and since I have a bad back, it was easier than the floor or bed.

DD is almost 2 and I either use the changing table or the floor. She doesn't give me a hard time with changing; the problem is that she is getting to tall to fit on the table anymore.

I still use it for my niece too and my SIL does too and shes 23 months.

i agree although DS has been so much harder to change lately. He just wants to sit/stand up and cries and whines when we try to lay him down to change him. I have to pull out every toy under the sun to keep him distracted

by 9 mths definately stopped because she was wiggling all over and it was unsafe. I change her on the bed or on her floor...

Marron is 27 months old and we still use it every time. She stays still there, a few times I've tried other places and then there is complete mayhem with her flipping over and trying to run all over the place.

Still use it and Grace is 19 months old. She is really good about diaper changes though.

At 2 yrs I still use the changing table unless I occassionally feel like chasing him down and wrestling him to get the diaper on.....I need more hands

With DD, I stopped around 18 months - however DH continued to use it until she was about 2 b/c he had trouble changing her anywhere else

We're still using ours and I have to say, Bella doesn't complain or squirm or cry...she's pretty happy on it for the most part and we keep her well entertained. So far she hasn't grown too big for it. I know eventually the floor it will be, but until then...we're still using it

I still use it....DS is almost 17 months. He stays much better on the changing table for diaper changes. If I try to change him on the floor/bed/couch it is a disaster! He wiggles all over the place.
