When did you tell?

When did you tell everyone you were pregnant and having twins? ( oops should have included....)besides immediate family and close friends?

My mother doesn't understand why I want to wait and wants to tell the world now. ( I am only 7 weeks).

i told everyone right away because i did IVF and my family and friends knew when the beta was going to be.. there was no way around it..

I told my parents, in-laws, siblings and best friend right away (they all knew I was going through IF and were waiting for news). Though, we didn't know it was twins until about a week later.

I didn't tell other friends and people at work until 13wks (I would have told at 12wks, but I was bleeding and too nervous to tell everyone, at that point).

My closet friends and immediate family - I think was 7 weeks, work around 10/11 weeks.

Close friends and Family we told right away. My dad has a big mouth though and tells ALL of his friends and opens his mouth when he shouldn't.

last night we were at a party at my brothers house. one of his friends came up to me and asked so we told him and he congratulated us very quietly. Another friend saw him hugging us and blurted out really loud, CAN I SAY CONGRATULATIONS NOW?!?!? So everyone knew right then and there. I'll be 12 weeks on Wednesday. So i guess it is kind of out of the bag. i am starting to show a little and not drinking or smoking whenever i go to a BBQ or something, so everyone knows something is up.

I waited until 12 weeks to tell everyone, after the ultrasound.

I was warned about vanishing twin syndrome, so I didn't want to tell people and then have to take it back.

I told my family I was pregnant around 8-10 weeks because I was showing, but didn't tell it was twins to them either until 12 weeks, with the exception of a few people (my sister and MIL knew from the beginning).

family and close friends right away a few weeks in, pretty early. and work 3 months in

Thanks girls! I want to wait to 12 weeks if I can and my mom will not stop bugging me to tell!
