When did your DC clap their hands and point at things
just wondering.... DS is almost a year and still doesnt do this. He also doesnt wave bye yet

DS is 8.5 months and just started waving and clapping this weekend. He doesn't point yet.

DD is 15 months and she started to clap at 11 months. She doesn't point yet and her waving comes in spurts. She doesn't wave that often.

sort of clapping around 7 - 8 months. It's not fully clapping b/c his hands don't touch each other, but he waves them around.
Waving around that time too, but it's so sporadic now at 10 months. He waves when he wants to

I remember DD didn't clap until she was over a year. Probably somewhere between 13-14 months. I don't know why this bothered me so much but it seemed like everyone else was doing it - but she eventually did too. As for the waving bye bye she did do that by a year but I don't think it was constant. Everything was hit or miss with her.

DD#1 waving and clapping at 6.5 months. Pointing around 9 or 10.
DD#2 was waving around 6.5 months, clapping at 7. She isn't pointing really yet (she is 10.5 months). Sometimes she waves her arm in the direction of something but not that I would call pointing.

DD started clapping around 10 months. I didn't see DS do it until around 13 months.
They both started waving around 11-12 months and pointing around 12 months.
