when did your ped. say to start whole milk?
just curious..mine said 11 months. I alwas thought you were supposed to wait a year.

Mine gave me the go ahead @ 10.5 months
He told me to wean him 1oz for week 1
2oz for week 2
etc...
The rest was filled with formula... 2 weeks before his 1st b-day he was completly on whole milk....

Mine said 11 mos, also.
He said he usually tells parents 12 mos., but my dd was huge for her age. (off the charts height and weight)

We're going to start slowly at 11 months. We are also going to wean to the sippy cup too.

10 mos. Told me to replace a bottle a day with regular milk. I did and it took 4 days to transition him to whole milk. He had no issues.

Mine just gave me the go ahead at our 10 month check-up. I didnt start yet, maybe Monday.
