When did your symptoms kick in?
I'm talking MEGA symptoms...............you know, the boobs killing you, nausea, exhaustion, constipation, etc etc?
The only symptom I have (in my 5th week) is the occasional cramp/pressure in my lower abdomen and mild boob pain. I've been a bit drowsy but I think that's because I haven't been sleeping more than 6 hours since I found I was pregnant (normall I get 8 hours)-I'm so excited I can't sleep!
I know everyone is different, so I'd like to know!
Thanks girls

Re: When did your symptoms kick in?
They kicked in immediately BUT now that I'm in my 6th week I'm really really feeling a whole new level of tired and the nausea is more bothersome throughout the day...I'm hoping they don't get worse between now and 12 weeks

Re: When did your symptoms kick in?
For me, it was around 8-9 weeks that my symptoms really started kicking in. Closer to 9 weeks. Throwing up every morning, completely exhausted and napping in the afternoon, hurts to put on a bra and also hurts not wearing one...
Seems like it's totally different for everyone.
ETA: I was nauseous/queasy for an entire month before I got PG so I'm not sure when to say that started, but you said major symptoms so I'm not counting that.

Re: When did your symptoms kick in?
I had a bit of nausea from week 6 or so and the exhaustion set in there too. But other than that, I've had a really good pregnancy and I'll be 25 weeks tomorrow.

Re: When did your symptoms kick in?
oh yeah and ps the only OTHER symptom I get is the on and off metal taste in my mouth (according to "What to Expect" that's pretty normal.)

Re: When did your symptoms kick in?
I will say 6-8 weeks.. but closer to the 8th week.. and then most of them were gone by 12 weeks. Nothing really crazy either. My boobs still hurt though and I am more tired now at 16 weeks then I was in the beginning

Re: When did your symptoms kick in?
Sore boobs almost right away- I thought it was AF on the way. But they were CRAZY sore.
Other than that I didn't get many symptoms so it's hard to say.

Re: When did your symptoms kick in?
8 weeks was the start of hell for me. looking back I say it was not bad but then I read my preggo diary and remember feeling like a big blob that couldn't move after work. but during work I was OK with the occasional nausea from a bad smell.

Re: When did your symptoms kick in?
6 wks is when it started for me but it wasnt to bad, now im at 9 wks and its in full force. The nausea all day puking but not all the time. Im exhausted by 2:30 and in bed by 9 lol but i dont want to scare you. Everyone is different. My friend I work with is 10 wks and has hardly any symptoms shes just tired! But remember if they do kick in its all worth it I keep telling myself a few more weeks and hopefully ill feel better!

Re: When did your symptoms kick in?
Before I got my BFP I had cramping and my boobs hurt a little. But it was a different hurt then normal. Its almost like they felt heavy and that hurt. Also I was soooooooooooo tired before I got my BFP. Like I literally couldn't keep my eyes open at work. Then around 6 weeks I started feeling very queasy, still really tired and my boobs were killing me so bad I had to hold them to walk anywhere lol. Now that was funny! The cramping pretty much stopped now and I hardly get those pains anymore. So far the worst of my symptoms were from weeks 7,8 and 9. But I dont know if it was combined with my ear infection and strep. Ugh! I'm just starting to feel better. I really have not thrown up since last week. And I'm just starting to look at other foods besides carbs.

Re: When did your symptoms kick in?
I felt wonderful for the first two weeks---just had sore boobs, but not even that bad. Then the nausea and vomiting hit me like a ton of bricks around 6 weeks. It's still going....12 weeks tomorrow (but maybe, just maybe a few signs today that it's letting up). I hope you're spared the m/s!

Re: When did your symptoms kick in?
I haven't really had any MEGA symptoms, except for exhaustion. Other than that I have had random signs.. headaches here and there... occasional nausea (only one really bad bout of nausea- but I have not yet thrown up) .... and my boobs aren't dramatically different I'm 9 weeks today.
I guess really the two major ones are fatigue like I said.. and bloating- but I am on progesterone which def makes it worse- you won't have to worry about that as soon as I did since you aren't on it!!

Re: When did your symptoms kick in?
I was in the same boat as you at 5wks. But, by 6wks it all hit me hard....drowsiness, nausea, mood swings, the whole nine yards. Hopefully you won't have it as badly as I did. But, it is nice to have some symptoms for reassurance, I guess!

Re: When did your symptoms kick in?
I'm 8 weeks. I really feel great. Every so often I feel nauseous but only one day I thought I would actually puke. I am a little constipated & got a hemorrhoid- ugh. My boobs are H-U-G-E but they don't really hurt. I am not tired at all.
The only honest symptom I really have is food aversions to like a ton of foods I normally always ate.

Re: When did your symptoms kick in?
I had symptoms before I knew or even thought of it! The 3/4th week I was sleeping 12 hours each night with 2 hr naps!! I usually sleep 6-7 hours. I thought I was just really tired, until I didn't get my period. Then it was like duhhhh

Re: When did your symptoms kick in?
5DPO - Cramping constantly, EXTREME fatigue, and an insatiable appetite. It all lasted from 5DPO until I was out of my first trimester. My boobs got tender around week 7 and that lasted about 2 weeks.

I spoke to my doctor earlier today-he said it's totally normal to not feel any symptoms yet.
I also told him about the uncomfortable cramping I was having and he said it was just everything stretching out.
