When do babies turn "head down"?
When I went for my level 2 the baby was breach. Since then, I feel the baby constantly but only in my lower belly and on my right side. So I am guessing its still breach. I go for another growth sono next week, but i was just wondering if at a certain point they are supposed to turn.
thanks!

Re: When do babies turn "head down"?
They can turn right up until 37 weeks I think. My son was breech this time around at 30 weeks and turned before my last visit at 34 weeks

I just had a growth sono last week during week 33 (32 weeks, 1 day), and my baby is already head down.

Re: When do babies turn "head down"?
Good question... I was wondering this too. I was thinking that at some point the baby would get too squished in there to move 180 degrees from up to down.

Trust me, it wasnt comfortable when the baby was turning. I felt stretched out, and uncomfortable in places that I never want to be uncomfortable in again.

Mine turned at 28 weeks too and has been down since. I am carrying small so she doesnt have alot of room so I think she will stay head down.

Re: When do babies turn "head down"?
When I was at the doctor tonight I asked him and he said that after 36-37 weeks that the position the baby is in, is usually the way it stays but up to then, the baby can turn. He felt my belly and right now he is facing head down.

Re: When do babies turn "head down"?
I asked at my last dr appt during week 33 and she said he could still turn, so don't worry about his position right now. I freaked at 25 weeks when he was head down. I thought that meant he was coming.
