When do Baby Kicks Hurt?
So, I'm almost 28 weeks and my little girl is very active in utero. In the last couple of days, there have been a couple of kicks that weren't exactly painful, but definitely startled me a little. I'm just curious....when will it, if ever, actually become painful? I've been loving it so far!

for me its usually painful when she kicks me in the ribs.. she must be kicking a nerve, but I swear sometimes it makes me see stars and I cant believe how strong she is! My DD has been extremely active in utero too and ALWAYS kicking or moving around.

only when they kick you in the va-jay-jay  at least that's been my experience so far (i am only 26 weeks tomorrow)
seriously that ish is painful!

oh just you wait.
 LOVES to kick me there, in my bladder, and in my butt. the butt doesn't hurt at all, and the bladder makes me want to pee in my pants, but the va-jay-jay kicks are seriously painful and uncomfortable.
i can't wait until he turns... i have yet to experience the joys of rib kicking

never had that yet! i guess because DS is head down.
it just started to get uncomfortable the last 3 weeks or so. not painful at all, but sometimes he kicks and it catches me by surprise and i bend over.

Oh yes. Seriously. My little one has turned and now it is va jay jay PUNCHING. I think this boy seriously wants OUT.

Yes I agree and the rib kicks are lovely too But it's okay. Totally worth the discomfort

Johnnys head was SO LOW that he would bounce it against my cervix the last few weeks...it made me wince a few times...nothing TERRIBLE but enough to make me catch my breath and double over. It was bad at night, around 3am he would kick and kick and kick and my sides got so sore from it! But in a weird way, I miss that feeling!!
