When do I give cereal twice a day?

Right now Sabrina gets cereal once a day in the early evening. She is 4 months 2 weeks. When do I start to give it twice a day? When should I add barley and oatmeal to the menu? Right now is just rice.

It is up to you. DS is 10 months old and he only gets cereal once a day.

I never gave it twice a day. He gets veggies and fruit instead.

He gets it only once for breakfast and that's it.

So when should I start fruits and veggies? Next month? And how often do I give them?

I gave cereal 2x in the beginning (breakfast/dinner)

I did rice for 3 days then oatmeal for 3 days. I never tried the barley.

Once I did both cereals I started with fruits. I gave a 1/2 the container with her cereal in the morning. I did each fruit for 3 days to check for allergies. Then I started veggies in pm (and dropped the pm cereal.)

Now she gets cereal with fruit in the morning, veggie for lunch and meat/veggie/fruit dinner.

Thanks ladies! Maybe I will try oatmeal this weekend.

She seems to like eating and looks eager to try more things.
