when do kids start losing their teeth
it was just brought to my attention that my nephew (5yrs old) hasn't lost a tooth yet. his school has sent a letter to his house so that my sister can take him to the dentist. is this weird, the fact he hasn't lost a tooth yet?

Thats utterly ridiculous. My kids started losing them at the end of Kindergarten and in first grade. Tell your sister not to worry.

My son just lost 2 teeth ... he's 6... and there is no sign of any other loose ones..the dentist was fine with it. I think it's strange the school would do that.

The Mayo Clinic says age 6 is when most kids start.....
I'd listen more to the Mayo Clinic than the school......
