When do schools usually send out teacher/class info for the upcoming school year?
Just curious. I know each district may do it differently, but my 1st is starting K this fall and I'm just wondering when her school might tell us her teacher assignment and let us know info about orientation, bus stop, etc.

When do schools usually send out teacher/class info for the upcoming school year?
We get kindergarten placements in mid July. It comes along with the orientation date (week before school starts). The transportation information usually comes in mid-August.
Most other schools in our area send teacher info in late August but, do orientation in May.

From whay I hear our district sends all info the end of August. The orientation date (day before school starts) and supply lists are online now though.

We just got our supply list and bus info last week. Our orientation is the first day of school for K. I'm told we will get teacher info in the next 2 weeks.

Our school does a Kindergarten play date- the info is given out there and also mailed home- it's at the end of August- the 24th.

Thur just sent out bus passes and bus stops, but class assignments don't usually go out until about a week before school starts.

In our district (N. Bellmore), we get the class/teacher assignments about a week after school ends (late June/early July) for grades 1 and up.
Incoming kindergarteners typically get theirs in August, but this year they went out early.

When do schools usually send out teacher/class info for the upcoming school year?
Out Kindergartners have a play date the end of August and they receive their teacher assignments and bus routes. The teachers are at the play date so they can meet all the students and take a tour of the classroom. It's nice because the kids get to know one another prior to the first day of school. The rest of the grades get assignments in mid july.

My district sends out the teacher info usually the middle of the last week before school starts...basically I suspect so parents can't reach anyone to complain if they aren't happy. We usually get it on Thursday or Friday.

A week before school starts, I hate it! They do it so people won't complain...BUT, they will still call and request a change if they aren't happy!
